Confetti Shower

Another one of the photos we must take during a wedding day is one which is particularly fun for the wedding guests, throwing confetti. Wedding guests seem to love this more than the bride and groom, you could almost think they were throwing rocks rather than confetti judging by some of the faces we see pulled! Usually, confetti is thrown outside a venue but we did have one wedding where due to lots of space inside and lack of space outside, the confetti was thrown indoors. At least with the hard-wooden floor in the Cutlers Hall it was easy to sweep up! We have also come across several different types of confetti, rice, paper and our favourite, dried rose petals. Rose petal confetti can make a wonderful and colourful display and shows up really well on wedding pictures. It is always worth checking with the venue if they allow confetti and if there are any restriction on where it can be thrown as some see it as a slipping hazard, particularly if it gets wet!

After the bride and groom have been covered in confetti, we took a walk around the side of Kenwood Hall to the hotel grounds. The purpose of this was to undertake the family formal photographs in the hotel gardens.
