Sometimes a bride and groom exchange gifts on their wedding day. Sometimes these have been sent for delivery by one of the bridal party to the bride and by the best man to the groom. Sometimes these are placed in the getting ready room by the venue staff, and sometimes they are handed over sometime before to be opened on the wedding day morning. Whichever way they arrive, it is a lovely thought and provided we know about the gift then we can photograph it for the couple at some point during the day.
At this wedding, the bride had purchased a pocket watch for her husband to be and in the photographs on these album pages, the bride and groom look at the watch together as the chat on the photo shoot walk around the grounds wit us. In these pictures taken down by the lake at Kenwood Hall in the late afternoon sun, the groom admires the pocket watch gift from his new wife on their wedding day.
There are some lovely settings around Kenwood Hall grounds for photographs, both of larger groups for the family formal pictures as well as the bride and groom. One of the places we always try to take our couples for pictures is down to the lake. You can see this bride and groom at the lake in one of the next few pages, but we have been down to take photographs there even in the most horrific weather, umbrella and wellies mandatory!
