Engagement photography can be a huge amount of fun, sharing a joke with each other and sometimes with your photographer! This engagement photo shoot took place in the magnificent Botanical Gardens Sheffield on a wonderfully warm and sunny summer day, the sort we seemed to have as children but are now most of the time at least, just a memory! We had a lovely time with these two wandering around the gardens, they really threw themselves into the session and had a really enjoyable time, and we really enjoyed photographing them and creating some memorable images for them to keep and remember their day by.
The Botanical Gardens in Sheffield is our most popular venue with our couples for their engagement photo shoots. The gardens have something interesting to see at all times of year but are particularly colourful in the spring and summer, but they also offer something striking in the autumn months as the leaves turn the corner and start to fade from the summer greens to the autumn yellows and oranges. The vast array of trees and plants here give a wide range of shades of autumn colours which look spectacular, particularly on a wedding photography shoot contrasted against a white wedding dress, but they can also set themselves very well against so many other colours a couple choose to wear on an engagement session.
