These are the Ox Stones located on the moorland just beyond Lady Canning's Plantation beyond the village of Ringinglow on the outskirts of Sheffield heading towards the Hope Valley. The rock formation is amazing and a favourite of walkers, climbers, and photographers alike. We are so lucky to live just over a mile from these stunning moors with some of the beautiful features, scenery, and views just there to be looked at and photographed.
While we haven't as yet incorporated these rocks into any wedding day pictures, we have been even further out of the city to Burbage Edge for some wedding photography. Unusually, we took the photographs of our couple before the wedding ceremony. The groom was from Switzerland where there isn't a tradition of the bride and groom not seeing each other on the wedding day until they meet at the ceremony. It was a wonderful day, full of new things for us to experience, such as no wedding cake or first dance but there were plenty of extra things we haven't encountered before too.
