A fantastic Sheffield Wedding at the Mosborough Hall Hotel. This beautiful 16th century manor house on the outskirts of Sheffield hosted this stunning wedding and gave ample opportunities for us as wedding photographers to capture images throughout the day. This wedding in the summer of 2016 and was for a couple we had met previously when we photographed the wedding of some of their close friends the previous year at the Peak Edge Hotel in Derbyshire.
This wedding featured the most bridesmaids we have seen so far, seven plus a couple of flower girls all supported by five groomsmen, it made this image interesting and allowed us to place the bridesmaids and groomsmen alternately in a repeating pattern. While our style of wedding photography doesn't normally cover staged shots which can frequently look somewhat trite and staged, we do obviously make an exception for family formal or group images. Our normal shooting style is to allow the day to unfold and four us to record it with the minimum of interference on our part. While some stunning wedding images can look spectacular they can take some considerable time to set up and frequently detract from the days events. The last thing we want is for a couple to look back at their pictures and remember only how much their wedding photographer took over their wedding day and messed them around!
