We had a wonderful time photographing our couple seen here on their wedding day! The wedding took place at Hotel Van Dyk, Chesterfield Derbyshire, a wonderful wedding venue that has in the not too distant past, undergone a massive refurbishment end expansion to make it yet another fantastic Chesterfield wedding venue. We love it when we photograph a couple who are really up for some fun and throw themselves into the whole wedding day experience, and our couple here did just that! They were a total joy to be around and their love for each other was so wonderful to see it made our day amazing!
This photograph was taken just at the entrance to the hotel on an area that on first glance perhaps wouldn't look like a suitable area for bride and groom portraits, but with a bit of quick thinking and some careful positioning and the help of my wife to get the veil to 'fly' it is possible to turn almost any location into a and outdoor photo studio!
There are some amazing wedding venues around Chesterfield in North East Derbyshire, Ringwood Hall Hotel just down the road from Hotel Van Dyk is another lovely venue we are very fond of working at, and there are many more besides!
