As wedding photographers, we can have a privileged position during a wedding. We always try to position at least one of the two of us at the front of the ceremony room so we get a good view of the couple during the wedding ceremony, but particularly the bride if space allows. From this position we see and hopefully capture many of the facial expressions and the interaction between the couple during the wedding ceremony. In this image the bride and groom share a joke and a smile as the bride looks lovingly at her new husband during the ceremony.
During this Kenwood Hall wedding the bride looks looks at her soon to be new husband as they both smile during the warm words of the celebrant during the marriage ceremony. This was probably the part of the service that occurs during all weddings when the celebrant asks "if anyone present knows of any reason" and despite being a very important part of the wedding ceremony for legal reasons, is almost always the source of a laugh or two, and usually a few coughs!
