Situated in 39 acres of beautiful landscaped Whirlow Brook Park and just four miles from Sheffield City centre, Whirlow Brook Hall is a wonderful wedding venue on the very edge of the city of Sheffield. The location of Whirlow Brook Hall also means this Sheffield wedding venue is remarkably close to the Peak District National Park as well as being close to the Chesterfield and Derbyshire side of the city. Whirlow Brook Hall was originally built around 1906 as a private family residence for Percy Fawcett, the grounds were opened to the public in 1951. The hall is a stunning stone-built property which from its elevated position high at the top of the site has stunning views across the grounds to the south.
Whirlow Brook Hall and its grounds are an absolutely wonderful place for weddings and for us to photograph them. With beautiful uncluttered grounds free from distracting man-made items, the grounds at Whirlow Brook offer some of the best photographic opportunities of any of the venues we have photographed at. We have been fortunate to photograph many amazing weddings here during the past few years, some we can share, some which due to confidentiality we can only share parts of, but we always have several bookings here looking forward and feel a thrill every time we receive another wedding photography booking here. Having the opportunity to work at such wonderful venues as this, with the magnificent photo opportunities the grounds of the hall provide means the pictures we take for our couples are elevated to another level.
