Engagement Photography sessions (sometimes also known as pre-wedding photography) are a fantastic way for couples to become accustomed to being photographed as many couples have never been professionally photographed before. Speaking from personal experience it can seem like strange being the centre of attention! We try to make you feel at ease, see how you interact with each other, but most of all have a great time and have some fun!
The pre-wedding photography sessions usually take place on weekday evenings through the summer but we do have some weekend availability if we are not already at a Wedding. The location for the photography can be anywhere within reason, perhaps a favourite park or somewhere you like to go together, if not we can help with some suggestions; the Botanical Gardens in Sheffield has been a favoured location for many of our couples in the past.
Couples choosing Engagement photography sessions receive a signature mount for your guests to sign on your Wedding Day, this can act as a reminder of your time together before you were a happily married couple, you could alternatively change the Engagement photograph for one from your Wedding Day but we have not yet been asked to do this.
